The haridasas and haridasa sahitya needs no introduction and there is an enormous amount of information freely available on the internet. What is lacking is a single website listing the songs and lyrics of the respective dasas according to the deity on whom the composition was made. This is a humble attempt to bring together as many songs as possible of these great men and women. Being a Cardiologist by profession, life is busy and hectic to say the least! But I have always found peace and great pleasure by knowing / listening to these literary gems. I hope you will equally enjoy this great wisdom passed on to us through the generations.
I am proud and equally humbled by the fact that our family tree traces back more than 250 years to include Four Uttaradi Mutt Swamigalu (Sri Satyabodha Thirtha (1710-1783), Sri Satyasandha Thirtha (1733-1794), Sri Satyavara Thirtha (1716-1797) and Sri Satyaparayana Tirtha (1841-1863).

In Aaru badukidarayya Hari ninna nambi song, the last stanza should read “ತಿರಿದುಂಬ (ಬೇಡಿ ತಿನ್ನುವ) ದಾಸರ ….” and not ಇರಿದುಂಬ (ಕೊಂದು ತಿನ್ನುವ)!

I am Radhika Srinath from Bangalore, I came across a small. piece of information that vidyalaya caters to help people to understand the meaning of words in the devrnama in devanagiri lipi ,I do not know to read kannada script I would be interested to have books on gopal dasara charitre, jaganath dasaru, and many such eminent saints charitre in devanagiri lipi.can you please help me on this aspect. Dear Ms Radhika, there are plently of books available on Gopala Dasa, Vijaya dasa and other eminent dasas. One place to look would be Uttarimutt or Vyasaraja mutt book stalls. Also, please check out some of the book shops in Gandhi Bazaar where you will find good books on Dasa sahitya in Devanagari script. Regards Praveen

For example, click on ‘Hari Narayana’ category and scroll down to Mahipathi Dasa. Click on the lyrics and you will get lyrics (and video if available). Similarly for others as well.
